The APA provides a unified coalition to grow the entire pulse crop industry from farm to fork. We are seeking members from across the pulse crop value chain to work together to achieve the following goals: Increasing consumption of Pulse Crops, Increasing Pulse Crop Research Funding, and Promoting Policies to Enhance Consumption.

USA Dry Pea & Lentil Council

The USADPLC represents the dry pea, lentil and chickpea industry in the United States. Also known as pulses; dry peas, lentils and chickpeas (garbanzo beans) are nutrition powerhouses packed with protein, fiber and other essential nutrients. Pulses can be found in everything from lentil flour to hummus and are versatile in all kinds of recipes.

In addition, dry peas, lentils and chickpeas benefit the soil and work well in many crop rotations.

US Pea & Lentil Trade Association

The USPLTA was established in 1962 to represent and support processors, warehousemen, and sellers of dry peas, lentils, and chickpeas. A board of 9 trade members represents the trade industry's interests in a host of different issues including: market access, transportation, export, and P.L. 480 programs, grading standards, and trade rules.
